Gareth launched Tribe in 2009, building on years in senior roles both in-house and agency-side. A true all-rounder skilled in strategy and creative, with a flair for producing multi-channel integrated campaigns that achieve positive behaviour change, Gareth has worked with an array of clients across private, public and non-profit sectors. He has also chaired economic development forums and business support networks. Gareth is a real advocate of engaging internal teams in the vision and values of the organisation, building pride and passion to create a culture that puts the audience first.
With twenty years of in-house experience at director level and more than a decade agency-side, Karen loves exploring new ways of helping Tribe’s clients to get a buzz from achieving their business goals. An all-rounder, with deep experience of marketing communications, PR and media evaluation, Karen is multi-lingual and has a global CV, with experience across many sectors in B2B and B2C. She enjoys developing strategies that create real competitive advantage by using insight intelligently, from planning to implementation and evaluation.
Helen has a wealth of experience in marketing strategy, research and insight and her skills and knowledge cover a wide range of sectors. Helen firmly believes that audience closeness is key to enabling organisations to live and breathe their audience and realise the benefits through brand growth. Whether she’s leading a research team on brand development, facilitating workshops or uncovering compelling insights from qualitative or quantitative research, Helen thrives on understanding what makes people tick.
Mark is one of the world’s leading experts on media evaluation and the brains behind our Qualimetrics™ toolkit, developing the capabilities needed to capture, analyse and interpret big data from online media and other sources. A pioneer of the media evaluation industry, his experience includes founding one of the world’s largest independent media evaluation companies, Metrica, which is now part of Cision’s Gorkana. Mark also has a strong creative side and brings to the Tribe team many years of PR expertise, having been a director at Countrywide (now Porter Novelli) and Portfolio Communications, where he managed a wide range of UK and global accounts. Passionate about the need to generate real benefits from communication and marketing activities, Mark is always seeking new ways to combine traditional and innovative methodologies to measure business success.
Lorren’s background in global digital media and delivering organisation transformation with multiple verticals has provided a wealth of business experience. Following a number of senior executive roles including a FTSE 100 group director role, he has more recently worked with new technology in the ecosystems of Silicon Valley and China. Lorren is passionate about customer centric product design, supported through service excellence, and is a strong advocate of the power of data-driven PR and marketing.
Jo also has a 20+ year career in marketing, ten of which were spent as senior account director at McCann Erickson working across a variety of brands including Durex, Scholl, Barclays, Consumer Direct, Resolve, Tui Holidays and others, with responsibility for developing and delivering fully integrated marketing campaigns appearing on everything from TV to luggage labels! She then joined another Manchester agency where she focussed on parent & baby brands, before joining Lime Pictures as head of brand partnerships, and then joining our tribe.
Jon Clements is a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner, with more than 20 years’ experience working with B2B businesses – from start-ups to blue chip companies. A qualified journalist, his work in the past 10 years has bridged the more traditional B2B PR practices of thought leadership and media relations with the modern approaches of online content creation and marketing; enabling companies to inform, educate and persuade through demonstrating knowledge and expertise. He was among the first 50 PR professionals in the UK to be awarded Chartered Practitioner status and his work has been recognised in north west regional PR award schemes.
Andy has spent 25 years in the TV Drama sector before diversifying into corporate films and advertising. He loves promoting brands and telling business stories through videography and photography. Equally happy as Director Of Photography on Holby City or knee-deep in manure videoing cow research for OMSCO, Andy is a bonafide image addict!
