Stamping out Stigma for the NHS
5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust commissioned us to create a strategy and campaign that would educate the public about the realities of mental health and learning disabilities, and help tackle the stigma that exists in society.
The multi-award winning result was ‘Stamp Out Stigma’, that uses the familiar rhyme ‘Sticks and Stones’, and smashed the target of 100,000 public pledges in its first year.
- We researched and wrote the campaign Strategy and Action Plan, advocating a public/ private sector partnership approach and a call to action to pledge support
- We created an integrated communications campaign that includes an interactive website and branded social media channels that have generated hundreds of thousands of tweets, likes, hits and views from across the globe
- We supported the core digital strategy and activity with a suite of materials including branded schools packs, giant pledge board, posters, pledge leaflets, car stickers and wristbands.
- Through the campaign the client has secured positive local media coverage as well as high-profile support from Stephen Fry, Alistair Campbell and several premier league football and rugby league clubs.
What started as a 12 month campaign to achieve 100,000 pledges is still running under client management and has collected many awards for 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust along the way.
The strategy is great and the materials look fantastic! We’ve never been so motivated and excited about a campaign!
